      RossRail Midlands offers a variety of ticketing options to suit your needs

      Single Journey > Buy anytime, Travel anytime, Buy anytime, Travel off peak, Buy in advance, Travel on specific trains
      Seasons > Point to point, Zonal
      Smartcards > Stored value (Pay as you go), Standard 35, Special 45

Single Journey
The standard full fare ticket. Valid on any train at any time for a month on both legs, with unlimited breaks of journey. Standard Open tickets get a free upgrade to First Class at weekends.
Not valid on certain peak InterCity trains, outward portion valid only on date shown, return for one month with unimited breaks of journey on the return portion only.
Not valid on Fridays, or on certain peak InterCity and InterRegio trains. Otherwise as Saver. This is the lowest priced walk on ticket on most long distance services. Not available in First Class.
The cheapest ticket for local journeys. Available after 0930 for travel on the same day up until 0430. Not valid on certain evening peak InterCity and InterRegio trains. Valid only on the date of issue for unlimited breaks of journey.
A discounted Supersaver for travel on specific InterCity or InterRegio trains when booked before 1800 on the day before travel. Valid only on trains shown.
The cheapest way to travel on InterCity and InterRegio. Available on certain off peak InterCity and InterRegio trains only, when booked at least 7 days in advance of travel. Valid only on trains shown. Not available in First Class.
Seasons

all except South Yorkshire Railmaster are available in contactless smartcard format
Unlimited travel between two points (with unlimited breaks of journey in between) for a week, month or year, or any period in between. Requires a Photocard.
Valid on all buses, trams and trains in zones of validity in the West Midlands County. Choose combinations of Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5c (Coventry), 5w (Wolverhampton).

Also available to include trains only in Zone S (Landywood - Rugeley Trent Valley) or Zone X (bounded by Stafford, Rugeley TV, Lichfield TV, Burton on Trent, Tamworth TV, Nuneaton, Leicester London Road, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon, Redditch, Worcester Foregate Street, Shrewsbury).

Available for one day (no photocard required), weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, or monthly by direct debit with the ticket posted to your door. Discounts available for company purchase (up to 50%), for students, and for off peak travellers.

Valid on all trains and transnet services within the Milton Keynes city boundary (including Newport Pagnell). Also valid on RailLink service R between Milton Keynes Central and Northfield and on Park and Ride service 200 between Milton Keynes Central and Coachway.

Available from Milton Keynes Central, Bletchley and Wolverton rail stations, City Information in the Theatre District, and the transnet ticket office at Newport Pagnell.
Valid on all trains and trams and most buses within one or more of the three zones of validity, Derby, Nottingham or the Outer Area. Available weekly, monthly or annually, with special cards for students and off peak travellers. Full details on the dante website.

Available from dante: home in Nottingham, all staffed stations in the dante area, Nottingham Broadmarsh Bus Station, Nottingham City Transport Travel shop on Old Market Square, and Derby Bus Station.
Valid on all trains and on flying fox within the zone of validity. Available for one day (no photocard required), weekly, monthly or annually, with discounts for students.

Available from all staffed stations in the Leicester area, and Leicester St. Margaret's Bus Station.
Valid on all trains in the Stoke on Trent area and the Keele University RailLink. Available weekly, monthly or annually.

Available from all staffed rail stations in the area and Keele University Students' Union.
Valid on all trains and trams within South Yorkshire county. Available weekly, monthly or annually.

Available from all staffed rail stations in the area or from Telford Bus Station, Telford Centre
Valid on all buses, trams, trains and the Underground, Docklands Light Railway and river services. Choose combinations of zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, A, B, C, D (A-D only available to/from London Underground Metropolitan Line between Moor Park and Watford/Chesham/Amersham)

Available weekly, monthly or annually, with or without an add on for travel from outside London.

We also accept zonal tickets from Merseytravel, GMPTE and Metro within their zones of validity.
Smartcards
Rechargable stored value cards, Credit can be added at staffed stations, and by machine at major stations.
Standard 30 gives you £35 of credit a month for a £30 direct debit. A simple way to save money if you're a frequent but irregular traveller.
Special 45 gives you £45 of credit for £35 a month direct debit, plus a third off most travel after that. It's equivalent to buying a Railcard type ticket for £60 per year if you spend more than £520 a year on travel.
