circle

      circle is RossRail Midlands urban transport division, running light rail and guided bus transport in the Midlands.

circle derby

     The Mickleover Line is now open, a 10 minute interval enhanced bus service from Derby Midland station to Mackworth Kingsway. Phase Three will extend the line to Mickleover by mid 2004. The line will be developed as a track guided route and eventually will carry trams along the former railway formation to Mickleover.

      flying fox is Leicester's guided transport system, and will develop over the coming years from the Fosse Line, currently operating as an enhanced bus route, into a network covering the city and connecting with heavy rail services.

transnet milton keynes

      transnet milton keynes has been operating successfully for over 2 years, and combines trams with an enhanced bus link to connect Milton Keynes Central station, the main shopping centre and theatre district with the Open University, Newport Pagnell, Kingston, Shenley Wood and Bletchley.

      An extension from Kingston to Woburn Sands station is proposed, the purple line extension from Walnut Tree to Dragonswell via Bow Brickhill station is in progress, and the green line will see extensions in the future as well as conversion to a combination of track and optical guidance.

The Daventry Connection

      The Daventry Connection is now part of circle, and operates a link service between Daventry and Long Buckby station, partly using track guidance. Services operate every 10 minutes, connecting with trains to Northampton and Rugby.
